Originally opened in 1917 as Ming Wo Hardware at 23 E. Pender Street in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown, it was converted to Ming Wo Cookware in the mid 1960’s and has been a source for professional cookware for cooks ever since. With the support of customers and the demand for quality cookware, Ming Wo has expanded to six stores throughout the lower mainland, with the store in Chinatown as its head office.
